Lia is owner Piccolino Piano Studio. Her unique teaching method gives young children – from the age of 4 – the opportunity to learn piano, establish sight reading skills and play high levels of the RCM program. Lia was born into a family of professional musicians; her parents are highly educated music teachers. Her passion for music, combined with a masters degree in piano studies and additional Montessori education certifications, allows Lia to provide necessary foundational work to achieve a strong base in piano skills from early age.

Lia began piano lessons when she was five years old. She has 24 years of piano teaching experience in Ukraine, England, and Canada.

Lia received a Masters degree diploma in musical studies, qualifying her as a piano teacher, chamber orchestra soloist, and concertmaster. Her passion for music, love for children, and education and knowledge of the Russian piano technique makes for a creative, working and fast-learning atmosphere in the classroom environment.
